Something is wrong with the CCS code on mobile[]

FAQ and/or To-Do section ?[]

I have 2 suggestions to brainstorm with you :

FAQ section on Main Page? Could be a nice idea to use that to gather new ideas and questions and to answer those questions not covered in other topics
To-Do : A Sub- Category of the Admin Noticeboard to list up all those chores or tasks … I have time to kill and it would prevent clogging up the discussion sub- categories here.

I want to make sure I understand your suggestions. Would the FAQ section be a separate page? Would it be mostly about gameplay elements or only about gameplay? Either way, I think this would be a nice idea to bring readers and editors together.

As for the “To-do” section, that would also be a good addition… We could put it in the Community portal or here, on the Admin noticeboard, and I could also create archive pages of the Admin noticeboard to make it cleaner… Let me know how you see this and I could add links on the Main Page. I would suggest adding the FAQ as a new page and linking it to Main Page. And would not define it too closely : If we have / get questions about the game, we can always use the suggestion to create or edit a wiki entry. And evering else that is related enough not to be deleted would have its place in the FAQ without having to move it.
The ToDo list could be linked to both the Admin noticeboard and the community page. We dont need to add every little task, but adding info about needed tasks in an easy to find was could be useful. The next batch of uncategorized pages / pics ect. I will spin something up

Numerous duplicates on Fandom/Wikia and Gamepedia[]

A direct message has been sent this Thursday to active editors, on both Fandom's and Gamepedia's Wikis, asking them to give their opinion. You can find the message on their User Talk page. People have until October 3rd to answer. This means we'll have the possibility to make a decision after that. I really hope we'll be able to merge those two wikis together. Considering there are five Fandom/Wikia about “Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey” and one wiki on Gamepedia, which is itself part of the “Fandom/Wikia family” since December 2018, I really think we need to think about merging all the wikis into a single one and work together.

Even though English isn't my first language, I'll do everything I can to bring together all the editors who want to work on a wiki for “Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey”, whether it’s:

As for myself, I did some work on the Gamepedia's wiki with nice users like TheBrezzl.

Template:Infobox_game[]

This template has been used on numerous pages for a purpose it wasn't intended for, because there was no documentation about it. It seems the template was initially for describing the game.

Cleaning up a little bit[]

We are finally the only Wiki about Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey! I merged and deleted a few articles today, but I'm taking a break for now. Don't hesitate to nominate articles for deletion or merger by using the the following templates: Template:Delete and Template:Merge. (I think merging and moving article is restricted to editors with administrative rights.)

To elaborate : Is there a specific Problem sparking this Question ? As far as I know there is little difference between Editor Access and Admin Access, except for some sensitive areas and tasks. I would join in if there is the need, but see no necessity at the moment ? Also : It is always possible that I vanish for a week or more, due to time issues. There is no specific issue honestly. I was just looking for help to share the "burden". Indeed, it seems like Regular Users can do a lot of things... There are three useful things about being an admin/guardian: Editing the CSS files (styling), Displaying Advanced Analytics, Displaying the search log that helps to plan articles expansion. I like the search log because you can see what people are searching with the search box and you can edit some articles with such knowledge. --BowiQC (talk) 00:51, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
