Cave System
Inside the pit, there is an entrance to a lengthy cave system that connects to the Buried Garden Oasis which is located right next the 
Savanna biome.
Travelling through the cave is faster than travelling on the surface and it removes all threats such as 
Hyenas and potential stalker cats. The only threat inside this cave system is a 
Megarian Banded Centipede which can be avoided by a single hominid by clinging to the cave walls to sneak past it. However, if you are with a group of hominids, you will likely have to proactively engage the centipede in combat or risk your clan members potentially being attacked, injured, or even killed.
This cave system creates an excellent shortcut to the Savanna biome bypassing the dangers of the Woodland biome on the surface.
